Biometric Authentication System(Fingerprint/Iris)
C-DAC Biometric SDK is intended for large-scale ABIS (Automated Biometric Identification System) and includes Fingerprint and Iris engines for template extraction and matching along with proprietary quality checks during data capture thereby making system suitable to work in varied environment over versatile population. The components are designed to work over large databases with millions of biometric templates with high accuracy and speed. The system addresses the problem of non-universality, since multiple traits ensure sufficient population coverage. It also deters spoofing since it would be difficult for an impostor to spoof multiple biometric traits of a genuine user simultaneously. The salient features of the Biometric SDK are:
Average Matching time <0.1 sec using standard templates.
Supports FMR (Fingerprint Minutiae Record, ISO/IEC 19794-2:2005), ANSI INCITS 378-2004, ANSI NIST-ITL 1-2007, ANSI NIST-ITL (Type4 and Type9) , ISO/IEC 19794 – 6:2011 and ANSI NIST-ITL Type17.
Supports fingerprint of Juvenile and Older age group.
Includes Slap Segmentation for Ten-print images.
Proprietary image quality control may be applied to accept only good quality fingerprint images during enrolment.
The system also enables identification of persons with Spectacles, Contact Lenses, person from distance and with wide gaze angles.
Supports sensor interoperability.
Highly scalable: adding more users to the same system.
Supported Operating System: Microsoft Windows, Linux and Android.
