The NCMC compliant Centralized AFC Eco-system has been designed and developed by CDAC to cater City Bus operations for NCMC, Cash & QR Ticketing solution. With centralized approach operators will be able to implement AFC system with low Capex and Opex as they need to just procure NCMC Compliant Ticketing Terminals from any vendor and plug to Centralized AFC (CAFC) system developed and maintained by CDAC and hosted in CDAC Data Centre. CAFC is linked with acquirer for the purpose of reconciliation and fund settlement. The flexibility of the system will support the proliferation of State Operators, Private Bus Operators and Cab / Taxi service providers business around electronic ticketing. This will also enable collaboration between transport operators for their ticking solution. • Successful Testing and Demonstration performed at country largest Bus operator-Mumbai BEST undertaking. • Eco-system for NCMC, Cash & QR ticketing designed and developed for both Handheld Terminals and Pole mounted Validators and had been tested successfully. • On the Air and In field upgrades developed for Ticketing Terminals to support flexible configuration and S/W updates.
